I am pleased with the long distance (over 100 feet) and through a couple of walls for 2.4GHz wifi connection to a router where the extender could not be placed any closer.
Works well with my TP-Link AX3000 router

1. Router & Extender work well to cover all our devices. Wifi 6 is a game changer. 2. Had issues with setup (really unexpected), and had to factory reset the Extender but worked perfectly after that. 3. Placement may be an issue but you have to reach a balance of distance & free receptacles. 4. No backhauling for my setup. 5. B & H delivery is superior to others.

Will this work for a non-mesh router?
Hi! Yes, the RE715X is universally compatible with Wi-Fi routers as a general Wi-Fi extender. However, please note that proprietary TP-Link OneMesh features will require a compatible TP-Link OneMesh capable Wi-Fi Router.
