Pedco UltraPod 3 Grip Reviews
One rigid leg, two flimsy legs

This tripod looks great: it's small, light, and cleverly designed. But it's just not good at holding a camera steady. My test case was holding up a Z50II w/ 18-50 f/2.8, or a bit under two pounds of mass. Lightly tapping the top of the lens caused significant wobbling, with the two inner/folding legs _visibly flexing_ as the camera moved. The description said the tripod was made of aluminum, but the legs are plastic; this works fine for the large outer leg, but the other legs either need a more rigid material or a significantly larger cross-section. The friction/ball mount is also soft plastic, and does not seem like it would stand up to heavy use.
