Wesco Superlite Reviews

Great investment

Perfect tool for the photographer that lugs loads of equipment around. Lightweight and folds up the wheels and deck with one move.(unlike older models of another brand) Even though the wheels are narrow, it travels over rough surfaces pretty well. A good buy and not expensive.

Not sure if folks write second reviews of a product, but this is more of a follow-up. I was upset that I had lost or misplaced the first Superlight, which I had owned and depended on for over 20 years. I immediately bought a new one only to find I had left the old one at another business location. I guess they realized it was mine and notified me after a bit of time. The business owner admitted that even though he knew this, it was hard to part with it since he tried it out and loved it. I appreciated his honesty, told him where to buy one, and was glad to get it back.., so now I have two. I might just give it to someone else who really needs it..., OR NOT! What a great, and indispensable piece of gear.

question

How do these wheels handle grass? They look like they can handle sidewalks and parking lots great, but much of my work is on sports fields, usually quite a distance on grass from where I parked. Hoping the wheels move through grass and slightly uneven terrain without making the cart hard to control.

Grass is a difficult terrain for most wheeled devices. That being said; I have rolled my Superlite over many different surfaces and was always surprised at how it performed. It is especially good at climbing stairs due to the position of the wheels encountering the stairs first. The size of the wheels and soft rubber composition are part of the secret to Superlite's superior maneuverability over objects in it's path. I HAVE pulled it over grassy patches and I can't recall having a problem. I thought I'd lost my first one and immediately bought another. It turns out I left it at a friends store who had a hard time parting with it, so bought one for himself. Because of the way it folds up it is easy to stow away in your vehicle. It's an ingeniously designed cart and one of the few purchases I've never regretted.
