With a smaller and lighter form factor than the Bolt 4K model, this transmitter can input video over HDMI or 12G-SDI with 10-bit HDR support, and this new line supports the 6 GHz wireless band, which is now freely available. It also features 50% quieter operation with its redesigned cooling system. The transmitter unit provides a powerful signal that can travel up to 1500' line of sight. It features a bright OLED display, a 12G-SDI loop output, and supports camera control with optional firmware via its 5-pin USB output.

There is slight compression during transmission with the 4K capable Teradek Bolt 6 XT 1500 12G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Transmitter/Receiver Kit, but all information is delivered through the receiver to provide a visually lossless image.
