Teradek LT 750 Overview

Transmit lossless HD video up to 750' with the Bolt 6 LT 750 3G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Transmitter from Teradek. With the same form factor as the Bolt 4K LT 750, this transmitter can input video over HDMI or 3G-SDI with 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR support, and this new line supports the 6 GHz wireless band, which is now freely available. The transmitter unit provides a powerful signal that can travel up to 750' line of sight. It also features a bright OLED display and an SDI loop output.

The transmitter supports transmission of video to up to six receivers and features improved metadata, range, and compatibility over its predecessors. Built-in AES-256 encryption protects your video from prying eyes, while noise rejection and improved long-range mode keeps your video clean no matter how many devices are using the wireless spectrum. The Bolt LT system also supports the transmission of timecode and start/stop triggers from the camera.

Though it can transmit visually lossless video to any Bolt 4K series receiver with zero delay using the 5 GHz band, it requires a Bolt 6 device to transmit over the 6 GHz band. The transmitter also supports a desktop Bolt Manager software application or the Bolt app for iOS or Android that easily connects via Bluetooth, which both provide a spectrum analyzer, channel selection tools, and remote configuration. There are 1/4"-20 and M3 mounting threads to mount your transmitter on a variety of cameras, cages, or rigs.

I've been using this Bolt 6 Receiver with my 4k LT Transmitter and receiver 1:2. It's exceptional - worked better than a 1500 from a rental company in a side by side comparison.

You get what you pay for

And this is painful to pay for. These just work and they are built like a tank. The battery plate for the transmitter is horrible (Teradek, fix that design please). I had an old Hollyland 600 kit and I sold it. These are fantastic. I will say, if you can get away with using the Hollyland Mars 4k kit you will be happy. I just needed a little more range, but I was always happy when we use the Mars 4k at work.

No, the IOS app for the Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 3G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Transmitter is for wireless configuration and features a spectrum analyzer.

If the Tx is fed signal via HDMI, will the local BNC loop thru / output transcode that signal lien the older 500 units did?

Yes, the Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 3G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Transmitter supports HDMI cross conversion. This would allow the HDMI input to output through the 3G-SDI. The Teradek Bolt 6 also would downscale 4k signals from HDMI to HD when outputting via the 3D-SDI.

If your camera is set to output a 1080p signal, the Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 3G-SDI/HDMI Transmitter/Receiver Kit will transmit and receive that same signal.

Can I use more than one tx / rx pair in the same environment?

It should theoretically be possible to use 6 Teradek Bolt 6 LT HDMI 750 Transmitter/Receiver Kits in a single location if you are all using fixed frequencies and there is minimal external interference in the area. The spacing of the equipment will also be incredibly important. With the Bolt 6 you'll want to have at least 10 feet between the transmitter and the receiver, and between other sets. If more receivers are used in a set this will impact the communication even more so. The Bolts operate in the unlicensed 5 GHz spectrum which can be use by other devices like WiFi routers, other wireless transmitting systems, etc. Here is an article that may be helpful: https://support.cs.inc/s/article/Bolt-4k-Best-Practices-for-Interference
