Leveraging advanced BOSS technologies to produce a versatile, portable, and truly go-everywhere design, the BOSS DUAL CUBE BASS LX Bass Amplifier is a feature-rich powerhouse that punches well above its size. Designed for home practicing or live performing, the Dual CUBE Bass LX is well equipped for either application with an ultracompact form factor, high-quality tones, numerous built-in effects, and flexible analog and digital I/O for an extended range of performing, recording, and livestreaming scenarios.

The Dual CUBE Bass LX comes with five preamp types, six FX types, three-band EQ control, onboard rhythms with 27 different patterns, a compression/drive control tuned specially for bass, and more. Stereo XLR balanced line outputs make it easy to connect your amp to a PA system or monitors, and multiple auxiliary inputs and outputs allow for recording with in-line headphone microphones, selectable loopback functions, and the onboard looper control, just to name a few. USB connectivity enables direct recording or livestreaming with minimal hassle, and the free DUAL CUBE BASS LX Editor offers easy access additional rhythms, edit sounds, and store settings. While the amp comes equipped with an AC adapter for power, it can also be fully powered by eight AA alkaline batteries, allowing you to truly play anywhere.

Find Your Voice
The DUAL CUBE BASS LX features a variety of bass-tuned effects, including many with expansive stereo sound. Shape your core tone with compression or drive, add color with touch wah, flanger, or chorus, and bring in spatial depth with delay or reverb. Each amp type includes three user memories, allowing you to store gain, EQ, and effect setups for quick recall. The DUAL CUBE BASS LX Editor lets you dive even deeper, providing access to effect variations and detailed parameter tweaks from your Mac or Windows computer.
Get in the Groove
Make your practice sessions more fun and productive with the powerful onboard Rhythm Guide. There are nine rhythm types with three pattern variations each, spanning from a basic metronome to realistic drum grooves in rock, jazz, metal, Latin, and other styles. Using the DUAL CUBE BASS LX Editor, you can explore a total of 91 rhythm variations and save your favorites in the amp. With the high-performance stereo speakers, rhythms and backing music are presented in full-range detail for a rich, immersive experience.
Beyond the Bedroom
Thanks to its ultraflexible connectivity, the DUAL CUBE BASS LX goes far beyond the capabilities of other compact amps. Use the stereo XLR line output to directly connect to a PA system and perform onstage. Or capture mix-ready sounds in music software on a computer or mobile device via USB or i-CUBE-Link. If you like to livestream, you can capture your voice with a headphones mic and send it to the USB and i-CUBE Link outputs along with your bass sound. And with the ability to use AC or battery power, you can play absolutely anywhere.
Expand Your Possibilities
With optional FS-series footswitches, you can operate the Rhythm Guide hands free and unlock access to the onboard looper to create layered performances. And by connecting the optional Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adapter, you can go even further with a smartphone or tablet. Wirelessly stream music from your device and jam along, or use the iOS/Android version of the DUAL CUBE BASS LX Editor to tweak functions remotely. Or, pair the EV-1-WL Wireless MIDI Expression Pedal to operate your wah and volume without cables.

Great Portable Bass Amp for Recreational Travel

I wanted a small, portable, battery-powered amp with a decent tone that I can take on vacations. This checked all of my boxes. I don't expect much from small travel amps, but this one has a lot of settings and good tone for the size. It can plug in or run on eight AA batteries, which lasted longer than I expected. I played four to five one-hour sessions on batteries and it was still going. The tone and power is obviously nothing compared to my Rumble 100, but that was not my primary objective. I will let other more experienced players critique the tone. For my purposes, this amp met all of my expectations at a reasonable price.

I live in NYC and have larger cabs and heads. I got this little amp for being able to get on the subway without breaking my back. For the size, weight, and money this is a great little amp.for practice and low volume rehearsals.
