The 1/4"-20 Mini Ball Head Support from CAMVATE features a 1/4"-20 screw on top and 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the bottom. It allows you to mount various 1/4"-20 accessories on supports with a 1/4"-20 screw mount. Made of aluminum and supporting up to 3.3 lb, it can be used to hold most on-camera lights, monitors, or microphones. It allows up to 360° swivel and 90° tilt adjustment.

Use it for something light - like a call phone. Don't even use it for a small P&S. It's cute, but it's a classic case of you-get-what-you-paid-for.
These are a great little ball head, well made and inexpensive. One is used with a smartphone mount, and holds the phone for recording perfectly. Quite a deal for the money. Thanks to B&H for carrying a great little product like these.
