I was informed by one of the "Experts" at B&H that this clamp was one of the solutions to attaching 1 1/2" wide Arca plates on many of my lenses to the 2" wide Manfrotto clamp on the top of the Benro S8PRO Fluid Head but upon arrival, I found that there is absolutely no way to attach the CAMVATE Quick Release Clamp to the Benro head. I am sending it back and demanding a full refund, including postage because of the misinformation given to me. This is the 2nd time that salesmen at B&H have given me bad information. After spending over $40,000 on photography gear, most at B&H I have resolved that the best solution is just to go back to independent investigations from other sources to get answers.

I use this clamp as a easy release on my homemade skimmer/ground pod for low level nature photography. I know it's a less expensive clamp but I don't put it through the rigors of a more robust clamp. Works great with a gimbal and 500mm f4 lens.
