A memory card slot supports microSD cards up to 128GB (available separately).

The Tapo app for iOS and Android enables remote management. Compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant enables seamless voice commands. The camera is housed in an IP66-rated enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use.

I bought 2 cameras for my son's back yard because of prowlers in the area. He set them up without difficulty and can see the yard through his phone.

Hi! Yes, the Tapo C310 is wireless, since it connects to your existing network via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Please note that the camera is not "wire free", since it must still be connected to a power source via the included power cable.

Is it possible to view this camera locally across a WiFi network that has NO Internet connection?

Hi! After the camera has been linked to your home Wi-Fi via the Tapo app (the camera requires Internet access during initial setup), if Internet access is disabled thereafter, the camera can still live stream and use an SD card for local recording or NVR recording without Internet access. However, please bear in mind that sometimes, after the app has been closed for a prolonged period, or if you have 2FA enabled, the app may prompt you to log again, at which point, Internet will be required. Additionally, some features of the camera are based exclusively on cloud connectivity and Internet access in order to function, such as remote control, streaming the live view remotely, time stamp updates, manual recording, push-to-talk, etc. Please also note that NVR/NAS recording is based on the ONVIF protocol. Theoretically, this type of recording could still work without Internet access. However, it is recommended to verify whether the third-party software being used for this functionality supports this type of feature.

Does it require to be connected to a system? I want to buy just 1 security camera for the back of my home.

The TP-Link Tapo C310 3MP Outdoor Wi-Fi Security Network Camera with Night Vision (BH # TPTAPOC310) does not connect to an NVR , hub or system. All that is needed is wireless or wired internet service and the Tapo mobile app for Android or iOS.

Will this work with the Kasa app?

The TP-Link Tapo C310 3MP Outdoor Wi-Fi Security Network Camera with Night Vision (B&H # TPTAPOC310) must be used with the Tapo app for setup and management. According to the manufacturer, the Tapo app can be used with Kasa cameras, but the Kasa app cannot be used to control Tapo cameras.

Hi! Yes, you can toggle the siren On/Off, separately from the security light, via the Tapo app.
