Tamron 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD Reviews

Fun and Sharp Lens

I am a bit of a beginner photographer and was looking to for a good telephoto lens to pair with my Sony a6000. I wanted to use the lens for wildlife and architectural photography. The lens is sharp and takes very nice pictures. The lens does not offer any sort of stabilization, so if your camera lacks in body image stabilization like mine, it can be a bit of a challenge taking photos handheld at 300MM unless you have a very fast shutter speed. The build quality, despite being plastic and not metal, is very good, It feels very sturdy. Overall it is a good lens for beginners, amateurs and hobbyists at a nice price. I could also see this being used in professional contexts if you have a camera with IBIS. Overall, for the price I would say this is a a very solid and capable lens. Cheers!

There is no difference in the optics of the lenses between the Nikon mount version and the Sony mount version. The only difference is the camera compatibility.
