An integrated, detachable solar panel extends the battery life of the CelluCORE 20 Solar Cellular Trail Camera from Bushnell beyond that of its predecessor, giving you up to 70 images a day when the rechargeable lithium-ion battery receives energy from direct sunlight. The CelluCORE Solar automatically sends the images it captures to your smartphone or tablet, where you can view, sort, and manage images remotely. The camera takes 20MP photos and 1080p video and can transmit the still images using a no-contract data plan from either AT&T or Verizon—whichever offers the strongest cellular network based on your camera's location.
The camera's trigger speed is 0.9 seconds and its low-glow night flash has an 80-foot range. Still images are time-stamped with useful information including date, time, temperature, and moon phase. A user-supplied SD memory card of up to 32GB stores the large video files and provides additional storage for still images. Without solar input, the camera runs for up to six months on a fresh set of 12 AA lithium batteries.
