Switching to 720p mode allows you to record video at up to 60 fps to help reduce motion blur. With an extra wide 90° diagonal field of view, you'll have plenty of room to move around and fit in others sitting beside you. The RightSight auto-framing technology is designed to automatically keep the camera centered on you while RightLight 4 light correction adjusts to environments ranging from low light to direct sunlight. The Logitech Brio 500 1080p Full HD Webcam (Off-White), B&H # LOBR500W, is designed to be mounted directly to the monitor bezel. A monitor hood will likely get in the way of the mount and not allow it to be secured properly so it would need to be removed.
