Not sure - because the photos look like it is covered with a plastic front lens cover - like the Olympus TG series - which is a sort of lens protector, but which, itself, may be subject to scratches. From where I sit, it may turn on what one calls a lens protector, as there is no sign of a mechanically closing door like as found on other pocket cameras. I would press for a second opinion from B&H on this one. Just my take. JR
