Capable of substituting as a baseplate for various CAMVATE cages and compatible with select Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras, this Extended Camera Baseplate with 15mm Dual-Rod Clamp makes integrating your camera cage configuration with your rod-mounted shoulder rig a breeze. The extended baseplate features a 1/4"-20 camera screw and three 1/4"-20 mounting grooves so you can adjust to maintain access to your camera's battery compartment.
Other 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads attach the baseplate to a tripod head or the included 15mm dual-rod clamp. This allows you to integrate your camera into a 15mm rod system and utilize a follow focus or other rod-based accessories. Rubber padding on the top of the baseplate prevents damage to your camera, and an aluminum alloy construction creates a lightweight and durable overall design.
