Compatibility
This adapter is compatible with Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2 Macs, or laptops that have Dual-Mode Mini DisplayPort output ports (DP++) to add a VGA monitor, TV, or projector. Compliant with VESA Dual-Mode DisplayPort 1.1, this adapter converts a Mini DisplayPort output to VGA input; it is not bi-directional and will not convert video signals in the opposite direction. Furthermore, this adapter is not compatible with Microsoft Surface Docking Stations, AMD Eyefinity, or NVIDIA Surround.
