Plugable UGA-2KHDMI Overview

The Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI Video Graphics Adapter with Audio allows you to add an additional HDMI monitor to virtually any Windows laptop, desktop, tablet or macOS. Connect up six monitor on a Windows computer or up to four on computers running macOS, each display requiring its own adapter. Multitask with a dedicated monitor for each document or application. This adapter supports resolutions up to 2560 x 1440 at 50 Hz.

Connect multiple USB 3.0 display adapters to your computer to expand your screen space. Up to 6 additional 2560 x 1440 HDMI displays are supported, one 2K display per adapter.

Compact and Portable
Easily stow this adapter in any backpack or laptop bag, taking up roughly the same space as a pack of playing cards. No external power adapter is needed.
System Requirements
This adapter works on systems with as little as 2 Ghz of processing power and 2GB RAM.
Adaptive Design
Native USB 2.0 connectivity also works on USB 3.0 systems, or USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 systems with an appropriate adapter, available separately.
Broad Compatibility
Designed for compatibility, this adapter works with Windows laptops, desktops, or tablets, and most legacy Windows systems. Windows 10 S Mode and Windows RT are not supported. Intel and M1e Macs on macOS 10.14 and later are supported with driver installation. Chrome and Linux operating systems are not supported.

Please note, USB speed limitations may prevent smooth playback of full-screen HD videos and games. DirectX is not supported. This adapter does not support HDCP protocols and does not support playback of encrypted Blu-ray disks or other copy-protected content. Furthermore, this adapter cannot be used with non-DisplayLink USB graphics adapters such as MCT, J5, and SMSC. WDDM-compatible graphics drivers are required. Some legacy graphics drivers including Intel HD4000 and earlier do not support mirror or cloned external displays in Windows 10.
