The 6.6' Plugable USB 3.0 Windows Transfer Cable allows you to transfer your important files and data between two Windows computers. With convenient data transfer over a USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 interface, plug-and-play functionality, and point-to-point simplicity and security, you can transfer your important files and data with confidence. Featuring USB-A 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 male connectors on both ends and a Prolific PL-257A1 chipset, this cable allows for easy transfers without the storage limitations you'd find using discs or drives. Transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s are supported if both connected computers support USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1.

This cable is intended for transferring files and folders when upgrading from an older Windows computer to a newer one, or for regular transfers between Windows computers. It is compatible with Windows XP and later. This cable is not compatible with macOS or any other operating system, or with ARM-based Windows, Windows 10 S-Mode, and Windows Server variations. Please note, programs cannot be transferred using this cable; programs must be reinstalled from the original discs or installation files.

USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Transfer Speeds
Transfer files and folders between two computers, including laptops and desktops running on Windows XP and later. This cable supports USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 speeds for up to three times faster transfers compared to older USB 2.0 standards. Please note, USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 speeds are supported if both computers support USB 3.0; this cable also works with USB 2.0 ports at USB 2.0 speeds. Both 32- and 64-bit Windows versions are supported. This cable is not compatible with Windows S Mode and Windows Server editions.
Syncing Software Included
Bravura Easy Computer Sync software is included, allowing you to transfer important files such as documents, music, pictures, videos, and more. A unique 16-character alphanumeric product key is included, and the transfer software must be run on each computer connected via the cable (the same Product Key will work for both computers). Plugable's website contains step-by-step instructions outlining the transfer process.
No Network Needed
With no size limits, this cable provides a simpler transfer process than using disks. Please note, both computers involved in the transfer must be fully functional and have attached displays for proper cable functionality.
Custom Syncing
This transfer cable supports custom file and folder syncing between two supported Windows computers, including drag and drop transfers. Please note, this cable does not transfer programs; programs must be reinstalled from the original disks or downloaded files.
Compatibility
All needed drivers for Windows XP and later are included in the Bravura Easy Computer Sync software. This cable is compatible with 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows. It is also compatible with active and passive USB extenders (available separately) for greater distances between computers. Please note, this cable does not support macOS or other operating systems. Furthermore, it is not compatible with ARM-based Windows such as on the MS Surface RT, Windows 10 S Mode, or Windows Server editions.
