love the concept but the light could be improved

I bought this mainly because of the replaceable battery. I already own a 1700 lm Magicshine, but I wanted something that lasts longer and gives me the option to carry a spare battery, and that was the main reason for choosing this light. Battery-wise it does what I expected. Having a swappable cell is great, especially for longer rides. The light quality itself is just okay. It’s not bad, but not particularly impressive either, and turbo mode drops faster than I expected. I didn’t measure the exact runtime, but the drop is noticeable in real use. I ride in NYC, including night rides on 9W, and it’s usable and safe, just don’t expect sustained turbo output. Overall it’s fine, with the battery system being the strongest point.

Great lighting options, from day to night, city to rural use. Beam pattern is ideal, wide buy not too wide. Feels solid, and has an easily replaceable battery, making this possibly the last light you'll need to buy.
