Built to deliver high power with an extended data range of up to 2690 feet, the base side LONGSPAN Max Hi-PoE Extender from Veracity enables delivery of 802.3bt (90W) PoE connection to an IP camera or remote network device. This base unit receives PoE power from a PoE switch or optional 57 VDC power supply and transmits it via Cat 6 or Cat 5e cable to the camera side extender (available separately), and finally to the camera or IP device.
Featuring an unrestricted 10/100 Mb/s full-duplex network connection, this unit self-configures for optimum performance every time it is connected and eliminates the need for user setup, DIP switch settings, and system pairings. Built-in surge protection minimizes system failure in the event of voltage and current spikes.
