We bought this after having issues with our legacy Teradek encoders. We were going to stick with the same brand but found the 4k version to be extremely pricey and thus needed other options to look at. A peer recommend to take a look at these units and the specs and price all checked out, so we gave it a go.
Since then, they have been great. We love how we can rackmount them vs. our older options. So now we have four of them ready for our productions!

It would be best to use the Magewell Ultra Encode AIO via Wi-Fi or Ethernet that does not have a captive web portal as the unit does not have a built-in browser.
