The Golden Age Premier Series ELA M251E is a handmade large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone painstakingly engineered to faithfully recreate the renowned Telefunken ELA M 251E studio microphone for vocalists, musicians, and recording engineers working in home, project, and commercial studios. Its capsule allows for operation in a cardioid, figure 8, or omnidirectional polar pattern. The 136 dB maximum SPL and wide frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ensure full-range capture of sources ranging from quiet vocals to loud drums. The ELA M251E includes a power supply, wood microphone case, and tweed-style flight case.
