No Light Leaks But the zippers failed after 4 years

I purchased one of these in 2020, and overall have been happy with it. No light leaks, and well made for the most part. It took a while for the sleeves to loosen up and was a difficult to put my arms inside for the first few months, but once worn in for a while it became easier to use. My only real complaint is that the zipper for the inner (black) layer has failed. The outer one still works, and I started putting a thick blanket over the zipper area to keep the light out. Despite this, I think 5 years was a pretty good run, considering how much I have used it. It certainly outlasted the cheap one it replaced. I am going to buy the large version to make handling big reels of film less frustrating. This is probably the best changing bag available in terms of construction and durability. I may try to find someone who can change the zipper that failed and keep using it. My cat thinks its a bed, and nothing I can do or say will convince him otherwise.

A little tight, worth it

B&H has some odd back ordered/online only cheaper options for this changing bag. I only needed it for one shoot on super 16mm so I was kind of bummed. However, knowing this... I can be assured there was no light leaks (I shinned a very powerful flashlight inside). The bag was a little tight on my arri sr3 mag, but ended up being just fine.

Is the interior material such that it's not going to attract a lot of lint, etc.? Is it really hard w the arms not being at 45°?

The Harrison Film Changing Bag (Small) is good at not attracting lint on the inside. And the bag is movable, and so the entrance for the arms does not really limit that much movement.
