Lightweight & Foldable
The softbox comes with 1.5- and 2.5-stop removable diffusers that can be used for softening the light's output in different levels. For further directional control, a 45° fabric grid is included so you can light specific areas of your subject. Its four-rod design makes it easy to set up and break down. Lightweight at 1.5 lb, it packs flat into the supplied carry bag for on-the-go content creation, livestreaming, and photography. Handheld bracket is not included.

I work full time as a lighting proffesional and do consulting as well. These were purchased for a small (okay tiny) studio due to the ceiling height constraints. These come with #2 diffusions and LCD (grid) Great quality @ this price point.

I would trust Aputure any day! It takes some time for the metal to morph for easy set up, but so does any other softbox. well worth the price!

How different from using Light Dome Mini II which is 21.5 diameter?

A smaller softbox like the Aputure Light Box 45 x 45 would produce a light that is not as soft as the light produced with a larger softbox like the Light Dome Mini II or larger.

The Aputure Light Box 45x45 (18 x 18") BH #APS0313A30 uses a Bowens mount. The LS 60x comes with a Bowens adapter that would have to be used to be compatible with this softbox.
