FREEFLY MōVI Pro (Gimbal Only)
At the heart of FREEFLY's MōVI Pro system is the gimbal unit. Using the "Toad in the Hole" quick release system, this gimbal can be attached to handles, aerial platforms, or terrestrial vehicles for stable, professional shots. The MōVI Pro motorized gimbal stabilizer steadies cameras weighing up to 15 lb, rendering it compatible with mirrorless all the way up to smaller cinema cameras. With separately available battery options, the camera and essential accessories can be powered without adding any bulk to the MōVI Pro via its D-Tap output port.
Power Surge Firmware Update
The newest firmware update gives the MoVI Pro motor a power boost to increase camera control. Hold your top speed for longer and recover faster thanks to Maniac Mode 2.0, which increases time at peak torque for all three motors. The motor temperature estimator has been reengineered to sustain maximum torque for longer while protecting the motors. On-screen display control can be facilitated via MoVI Controller when filming with the FREEFLY Ember, Panasonic BGH1, and Panasonic BS1H with the Entire Air Commander.
Versatile "Toad in the Hole" Design
The MōVI Pro is capable of turning 180° to quickly transition from upright to inverted mounting modes and transition from handheld to TERO-mounted configurations. Handle configuration options include the RING Pro, skate, and classic modes. Mount the gimbal onto a drone and use the dual GPS units on the top and bottom for solid signal in both Sky or GroundView.
3-Axis Lens Control
Built into the camera stage is a fully integrated lens control system. Use the internal, long-range 2.4 GHz frequency hopping signal to connect to the separately available MIMIC, Mōvi controller, or a combination of the two.
RED RCP2 Integration
Access RED camera controls like focus, iris, ISO, and start/stop thanks to the integrated RCP2 control. Use the Mōvi or MIMIC controller to adjust those settings from hundreds of feet away.

Improved Stability, Increased Torque
High-quality sensors with precise calibration allow for smooth performance even during the most demanding shots with a 60 dB at 1 Hz disturbance rejection. The Pro features twice the torque of previous gimbal motors thanks to its direct-drive brushless motors.
Power Capabilities and Compatibility
  • The dual battery plates are hot-swappable for easy replacement while shooting in the field. They are compatible with separately available Mōvi Pro, SL4-Ground, and TB50/55 batteries.
  • Three D-Tap outputs and one USB output on the gimbal provide the camera and any attached accessories with power.
App Control
Tune and customize your gimbal in real time using the iOS and Android compatible Mōvi Pro App. Configure your time-lapse settings and monitor battery status all from your phone, which is especially useful when your gimbal is mounted on the TERO vehicle or a high-powered drone.

Take your MoVI Pro setup to new heights with the MoVI Pro Landing Gear Kit from FREEFLY. This kit is designed to attach to your MoVI Pro stabilizer in roughly 5 minutes, giving it lightweight carbon and aluminum landing gear that can be used with the FREEFLY ALTA 6 or ALTA 8 multi-rotor UAV.

Once installed onto an ALTA drone, the entire landing gear structure will rotate along with the gimbal for an unrestricted panning field of view. The quick release feature for the 0.6" diameter legs lets you quickly transition from aerial shooting to ground/handheld shooting.

Power your MōVI Pro or Carbon gimbal stabilizer with this SL4-Ground Lithium-Ion Battery from FREEFLY. The battery features a rechargeable 86.4Wh lithium-ion design with a 21.6V nominal voltage. Depending on the camera and accessories you utilize with the rig, it has a total runtime of 2 to 5.75 hours and can recharge in just 70 minutes. The front panel of the battery features a USB-C and proprietary ports for recharging or power additional devices, as well as a display for monitoring the battery's status.
