Can this battery be used plugged into USB source, and simultaneously used in camera so it may act as dummy battery/USB cable?

Unfortunately, the Vidpro Sony NP-FZ100 Type Lithium-Ion Battery with USB-C Charging Port (2400mAh) cannot be plugged into a USB cable while it is in use in the camera.

Is there any way to know when the battery is fully charged without putting the battery in the camera?

The Vidpro Sony NP-FZ100 Type Lithium-Ion Battery with USB-C Charging Port (2400mAh) does not have an indicator that tells you when the battery is fully charged.
