I love this. Lets me set up video village without adding a bunch of batteries/extra plugs. The small caveat is that you have to be careful when connecting d-taps. On any of my other devices (adapter plates, batteries, etc.), there is no way to install reverse polarity. For this one, certain power adapter cables can start to be inserted reverse polarity (enough to complete the circuit in reverse). So pay attention when connecting. Would love to see the tolerances checked/modified so that this is impossible. In my first batch of 2, 1 was DOA, but the folks at Watson contacted me and arranged/sent a repair! I have since bought another because these are incredibly useful around the set!

This power supply adds another form of power when needing multiple d-taps. As simple as this sounds this can really come in handy in situations where one has d-tap cables, but not enough ports and you need a steady stream of power as opposed to using v-mounts that would likely lose power faster when using all four ports. I've velcro'd this to the leg of a tripod or to the back of a monitor on interviews. I think these are best suited in studio settings, not for travel as it adds weight to gear bags. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]
