Customized Printing with Mini Print App
Printing is easy with a Bluetooth connection and the Canon Mini Print app downloaded to your iOS or Android device. The app gives you the ability to customize your images with built-in frames and stickers, and collage or tile designs. The app supports customizing and printing to ZINK Photo Paper or ZINK Pre-Cut Stickers. The app even includes a built-in layout to support the pre-cut circular stickers (not included). What is included is a 10-sheet ZINK Photo Paper pack to get you started.

This mini printer is great. It’s portable and it’s the perfect size to print out pictures to journal/scrapbook but the only thing is: the way the pictures come out. It looks nothing like what the coloring of the picture you want to print. It’s honestly so inconvenient and annoying to “play” with the settings. But if you’re looking for a mini printer that has a filter then it might not be a problem. I’ve seen reviews that the 1st version is more accurate than this one.

Got it a week ago. Love it The quality of the printed picture isn’t top notch magazine quality but they’re fine for what this is. It’s easy to use. Quick to set up and a fun thing to have around when you’re out with the family. The kids love it. I love it. Definitely happy with this

The Canon IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer (Pure White), BH # CAIVY2MPW, is not designed to print while charging. A full charge will take about 45 minutes.

Is this printer able to print on pvc (plastic) cards (i.e. ID cards)?

No, the Canon IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer (Pure White), (B&H # CAIVY2MPW), can only print on genuine Canon media. They do not make PVC/Plastic cards for it, you will need to look into an ID printer like the IDP SMART-31S Single-Sided ID Card Printer Kit (250-Print Ribbon), B&H # ID651527K.

The Canon IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer (Blush Pink), BH # CAIVY2MPP, does not use ink or printer ribbons. It uses Zero Ink printing technology, relying on different heat-sensitive layers inside the media (ZINK Photo Paper or Photo Sticker packs) to form the final image with no need for ink or toner. As a result, borderless printing is easily achieved, and the images are naturally resistant to smudging or water damage.
