Extend your audio distribution with this Uncompressed Audio Extender Transmitter from AVPro Edge. This transmitter allows you to connect an audio source such as a DVD player, Smart TV, or computer and transmit uncompressed audio over UTP Cat cable to 328' away. The transmitter box offers L/R analog coax input and an optical TOSLINK input for your audio source, which are selected via a switch, or they can be used simultaneously.
The audio is output over an RJ45 port and can travel up to 328' over a single UTP Cat 5e (or better) cable, or you can utilize an STP Cat 5e or better cable for transmission up to 426'. Supported audio formats include LPCM, Dolby Digital, and DTS 5.1. The unit is compatible with a separately available AVPro AC-AEX-R receiver. It is powered using PoC (power-over-cable) from a compatible receiver, or an optional power adapter can be purchased separately.
