The Apogee Electronics Symphony I/O Mk II Connect Series Pro Tools Audio Interface with 8 Microphone Preamps and 8x8 Analog/Digital I/O brings high-performance A/D and D/A conversion, eight high-gain mic preamps, and eight channels of analog and digital I/O to your Pro Tools HD, HDX, or HD Native system. Its premium sonic performance, sample-accurate delay compensation, Mini-DigiLink connectivity, and BNC loop sync and wordclock I/O make it a solid choice for pro-level producers as well as engineers in broadcast, postproduction, studio, and live stage applications.
By utilizing Apogee's Advanced Stepped Gain Architecture, the interface delivers up to 72 dB of gain in 1 dB increments while maintaining ultralow noise, virtually nonexistent distortion, and noiseless gain adjustment. Its analog I/O includes eight channels of balanced inputs and outputs on DB-25 connectors. Additional DB-25, TOSLINK optical, and RCA coaxial jacks provide connectivity for AES/EBU, ADAT, and S/PDIF digital inputs and outputs. The Symphony I/O Mk II features an ultrahigh-fidelity DAC and headphone amplifier with Apogee's Constant Current Drive technology, which dynamically compensates for nonlinearities in any connected headphones, to provide massive power while maintaining extremely low distortion and linear frequency response.
The Apogee Electronics Symphony I/O Mk II Pro Tools Chassis is an audio interface chassis designed to provide direct connectivity to Pro Tools HD systems for recording and mixing engineers in broadcast, post-production, studio, and live stage applications. It features a Mini-DigiLink port in the pre-installed HD option card, BNC loop sync I/O, and BNC word clock I/O. A stereo 1/4" headphone jack enables quick and effective monitoring with a variety of headphone impedances.
Emulating an Avid HD I/O interface, it ensures seamless integration and sample-accurate delay compensation while delivering ultra-low latency for proper timing in signal conversion. Configure and control the chassis via the color touchscreen display and large rotary control on the front panel. Install multiple I/O cards (available separately) for up to thirty-two channels of analog inputs and outputs.
The Symphony I/O MkII is made in the USA and ships with a power cable.
The Apogee Electronics Connect 8x8 MP is an expansion I/O module offering high-performance A/D and D/A conversion, eight high-gain mic preamps, and eight channels of analog and digital I/O for producers and engineers using Symphony I/O Mk II Thunderbolt or Dante chassis in personal, project, and commercial studios.
By utilizing Apogee's Advanced Stepped Gain Architecture, the Connect 8x8 MP delivers up to 72 dB of gain in 1 dB increments while maintaining ultralow noise, virtually nonexistent distortion, and noiseless gain adjustment.
Its analog I/O includes eight channels of balanced inputs and outputs on DB25 connectors. Additional DB25, TOSLINK optical, and RCA coaxial jacks provide connectivity for AES/EBU, ADAT, and S/PDIF digital inputs and outputs. The Connect 8x8 MP is easily installed in a Symphony I/O Mk II Thunderbolt or Dante chassis.
