This looks like an updated Rode Podcaster, how is this different/better aside from being USB C?
The Rode X XDM-100 has a DSP chip inside of the microphone that handles higher quality processing, it has a built in Aphex mic preamp similar to that found on the Rodecaster Pro and when used with Rode's Unify software you can use a compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter, Aural Exciter and Big Bottom directly with the mic. The Rode Podcaster comes with none of these features.

What are competing mics? I use a Mac so unify isn't a benefit. I'll be live streaming with it.
