The Eartec EVADE EVX3D is a full-duplex wireless intercom system suitable for facilitating communication among three people for light industrial applications. This set includes one dual-ear master headset for the team leader and two dual-ear remote headsets. All the technology necessary for operating the intercom system, including the battery, has been built into one of the headset's earcups—eliminating the need for wires or a bodypack. The headsets link automatically for transmission in the 2.4 GHz spectrum at a maximum range up to 1148', and a base station is not required.
The microphone boom on each headset swivels up to 270°, allowing the user to wear it on the left or right side. Rotating the boom into the up position automatically mutes the microphone, and a simple five-level volume control is easily accessed on the earcup. Each headset features a built-in rechargeable LiPo battery, which will power it for up to 8 hours. Three rechargeable batteries, a nine-bay multi-port charger, and a soft-side case are provided.
