The XT leverages the unsurpassed six-layer summing board circuitry of the 2-Bus+ and adds two custom color circuits designed by the audio wizard Chris Muth. A specifically chosen transformer adds a tasteful hit of 2nd order harmonics for lower midrange warmth while preserving top-end clarity. The Coherence circuit elevates the harmonic content of signals progressively by bringing up the detail as the levels are reduced, then allowing you to blend this result with the source mix in parallel compression style. The processors can be engaged on inputs 15/16 or the mix bus and will add complexity to sterile tracks to draw your listener in deep. The rear panel features two DB-25 line input connectors, two XLR expansion inputs, two main mix XLR outputs, and two XLR monitor outputs.
