Add a slice of vintage flavor to your productions with the EastWest String Machine, a virtual instrument plug-in that's inspired by vintage string machines such as the Arp Solina, Oberheim OBX, Roland RS-505, and Roland Jupiter 6. String Machine also features the classic ensemble chorus found on most vintage string synthesizers. The included ensemble chorus features three modes, each with distinctive characteristics.
The user interface is designed to emulate a classic string machine, adorned with tons of switches and sliders. The instrument is broken into four color-coded sections including string machines and pads (red), section strings (green), solo woodwinds and brass (teal), and choirs and soloist (orange). The software utilizes a dedicated Opus playback engine, which provides a searchable browser and the ability for users to customize their sounds. It is compatible with Mac and Windows. It runs as standalone software or operates in AU, VS2, VST3, or AAX formats.
