Need a microphone for Sabrent USB TYPE-C AUDIO ADAPTER accepts 3.5 mm (pink coded) jack for input at 16/24 bits and up to 96KHZ sampling rate. Will this setup work with my adapter that I also use for speaker output?
The LM8 microphone that is included with the Samson LMU1 Lavalier Microphone Bundle with USB Adapter is made to run on mic plug-in power, typically starting at around 2.5V or higher. The mic input on the Sabrent USB Type-C Audio Adapter does not provide mic plug-in power. Instead, you would need to use a battery powered 3.5mm TRS connection microphone with the mic input on the Sabrent USB Type-C Audio Adapter, like BH #POOLM10.
