A great addition to my new FUJIFILM X-T5. It strikes a really nice balance between form and function—subtle enough that it doesn’t change the look or feel of the camera too much, but it makes a noticeable difference in handling. For someone with larger hands, the extra grip is exactly what the X-T5 needs. It adds just enough depth and contour to make the camera feel more secure and comfortable, especially during longer shooting sessions or when using heavier lenses. The build quality is excellent, as you’d expect from Fujifilm—solid metal construction that feels like a natural extension of the camera body. Another nice touch is that it maintains access to the battery and doesn’t interfere with everyday use, which keeps things simple and practical. Overall, it’s a clean, well-designed upgrade that enhances comfort without adding bulk. If you have larger hands or just want a more confident grip on the X-T5, this is an easy recommendation.

The grips snug to my camera and it is easy to change batteries with it on. Also it is compatible with Arca tripod heads. very pleased with how it feels on the camera.

Has anyone compared this to the Really Right Stuff version?

The Really Right Stuff Modular L-Set for FUJIFILM X-T5 does have the option for shooting vertically, which the FUJIFILM MHG-XT5 Metal Hand Grip for XT-5 Mirrorless Camera does not have. Also the RRS has a QD socket which is not found on the FUJIFILM.

Can the peak design capture clip be attached to the bottom of this? Will it block the battery slot?

Yes you can connect the release plate from the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip v3 (Black). It would connect to the 1/4-20 threads off the screw in the FUJIFILM MHG-XT5 Metal Hand Grip for XT-5 Mirrorless Camera without blocking the battery access compartment.
