Can anyone give example of what aperture, ISO, and shutter speed possible with this light in softbox (and at what distance)?
Asked by: Film lover
To measure light photometrics of Godox SL300III Daylight LED Video Light will require a black out room with no ambient light for accuracy and a soft box that will be used by the one to make accurate statement. The light change depending on a modifier/soft-box and all soft-boxes vary in size, shape, inner material and diffusion. Unfortunately we do not have a proper testing conditions at the moment, but will be happy to provide the following information from the manufacture : at 5600K Bare light emits 12 900 lux/ 1200 foot candle at 1meter , 3 300 lux/310 foot candles at 3 meters, 1650lux/150 foot candles at 3 meters. With reflector attached at 1 meter 99 300 lux/9100 foot candles, at 2 meters 20000 lux/1900 foot candles, at 3 meters 8 800 lux/800 foot candles. Regarding the camera setting it could vary due to different sensors in camera and ISO sensitivity as well as the choice of the lens.
