I just find it more comfortable, I know not everyone is the same in this regard, some people like the thinner and harder pens. I added a 3d printed "cap" at the back so it would fit in the pen-loop easier

I had a carpal flareup that occurs every now and then especially when gripping a tiny pencil. I loved the Pro Pen2 and was so sad to see this new design of the Pro Pen 3 was so thin, I did an art piece recently that nearly made me cry from the pain of this tiny tablet pen. I invested in the official wacom grip and for such a silly, tiny looking thing, it really did save me. There are knockoffs that I debated on that were much bulkier/unweildy, but for physical health, you really want something that fits properly, so official product it is.
