A good Gimbal Head that won't break the bank

I'm using this primarily for a 500mm Lens and wildlife. It moves around smoothly and is constructed solidly. Makes it easy to take photos with less shake. It is incredibly handy when you're dealing with large lenses and don't want to be hefting them for hours. The construction and look of this item is very nice. The marking on the head is handy. I would suggest buying this if you're in the market for a gimbal head.

The weight is is listed as 3.1 lbs under the photos, but the "specs" indicate 1.1 lbs with a package weight. I'd guess somebody didn't convert from kg to lbs. What is the actual weight in either units?
As per Neewer the Neewer GM101 Heavy Aluminum Alloy Gimbal Tripod Head weighs 2.55lbs. The package weight in the manufacturer package we list as 3.775 lb.
