The Bluetooth remote, which mimics a camera shutter, connects to the grip magnetically, and may also be removed. On the front is a faux lens cap that can be removed to reveal a mirror, while the top features a cold shoe mount and the bottom a 1/4"-20 thread, each of which can be used for mounting accessories or a tripod. The CG01 is powered using an internal battery which can be charged using an integrated USB-C port and an included charging cable. When not in use, the charging cable can be stored within a compartment that's built into the grip.

Very clever idea. This allows you to grip the phone in a way that there's little shake or movement, much like a regular camera grip. The Bluetooth shutter trigger makes it feel almost like holding a DSLR/Mirrorless camera. Very well done at a very reasonable cost.
The interaction with B&H photo was seamless, and the order arrived much quicker than I expected. I highly recommend B&H.
Handy!
