The Mini Moon 11" RGB LED Light from Genaray is a portable fixture that provides a natural and soft continuous light source with broad coverage for still and tabletop photography, portraits, and interviews. It provides a round and more natural-looking catchlight than square LEDs. The integrated diffuser softens the light and provides a beautiful single-shadow wraparound light, which is perfect for portraits and fashion.

The Mini Moon requires two NP-F batteries to work, and will not work with one of the two battery slots empty. My question is, do the two batteries filling the slots have to be identical? Thanks!

No, the two NP-F batteries do not have to be identical. It is possible to use two different size/brand NP-F batteries with the Genaray Mini Moon 11" Bicolor Soft LED light. However, do note that when the smaller of the two batteries runs out of power, the light fixture will stop working, regardless if the larger battery still has a charge.

How many DMX channels and what does each channel control? The documentation just explains how to set the DMX address of the light only.

This light has 512 channels with the DMX-512, you can adjust the brightness and color temperature.
