Neewer Wall-Mounting Boom Arm Reviews

Perfect solution for my tripod clutter

I have a small office/studio space which I use for digitizing original artwork for artists as well as taking still life photographs. That plus a desk and counter top space for my Epson P900 and my Dahl cutter makes for tight quarters. I finally got tired of tripping over the lighting tripods and decided it was time to do something about it. So I got a couple of these Neewer Booms to mount the lights. on opposite walls. Now I can tuck them away tight to the wall when not in use and when needed swing them out and position them for whatever I am photographing. Biggly adjustable distance from the subject, angles, etc. I mounted them high enough to stay out of my way, but low enough I don't have to step on a stool to reach them for adjustments (mounted about 7' off the floor anf 4' from the wall with my easel for shooting flat artwork). No more tripping on tripods or interfering with placement due to my desk or work surfaces. These are built with robust materials. A good solid design. I am very happy with this solution.
