The Sennheiser Mic I was using as a desk boom mic needed battery power because the teeny tiny one-channel mixer I'd cheaped out on didn't have ENOUGH phantom power (15v?). Enter Neewer! This is EXACTLY what I needed. Phantom power with one additional pass-through, no quality loss. Very happy with this simple tool. I SHOULDN'T have needed it if I'd bought a 48V+ phantom powered one-channel mixer, but that's on me and Neewer came through with a win.
