Hybrid Analog and USB Audio
Designed for the content creator, this V-Mic D4 Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone from Deity Microphone features a supercardioid, professional-grade mic capable of outputting to your DSLR or mobile device. Using the same low-noise technology from the previous D3 and D3 Pro models, the V-Mic D4 ensures your voice-over or run-and-gun audio does not become distorted. Other features of the D4 include an adjustable gain dial and a AAA battery with a runtime of 60 hours.
USB-C Smart Port 2.0
The V-Mic D4 incorporates Smart Port 2.0 technology, using the digital/analog hybrid output, which works with both 3.5mm microphone jacks or USB digital ports on laptops and smartphones. Connect the mic to your DSLR or smartphone for vlogging or to your laptop for conference calls or livestreams. The mic automatically turns on at the same time as your connected camera for plug-and-play capability.
Device Compatibility
With support for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS devices (with a separately available Lightning connector), the V-Mix D4 helps you record professional-grade audio in any content-creating setting, from vlogs to streams. Included with the microphone is a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to TRRS cable for connection with DSLRs, camcorders, mobile devices, and laptops.
Stepless Gain Knob
The VMic D4 features a stepless gain dial, which is integrated into the back of the microphone and doubles as a -5 dB pad. Bump guards prevent the dial from rotating accidentally. The total gain adjustment range is from -5 to +10 dB and its intuitive placement makes adjusting on the fly a breeze.
Upgraded Accessories
The V-Mic D4 features new Deity accessories, such as the new shockmount, which reduces handling noise. Its inverted cold shoe mount leaves room to integrate a wireless transmitter underneath for a wireless boom setup. An upgraded foam windscreen has a reinforced rubber support backing plate for additional strength and support for the included furry windscreen. The shockmount offers a cold shoe foot for mounting on top of your camera while a 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 thread adapter expands your mounting capabilities to articulating arms.

can one attach a compatible Dukabel usbc to 2x female 3.5 mm TRS adapter in order to both monitor and to go to a camera?

Yes, the Dukabel USB-C to Dual 3.5mm TRS Adapter will send audio from the Deity Microphones V-Mic D4 Hybrid Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone to both the monitor and camera. As a better option, you can use the included USB-C to 3.5mm TRRS male cable with the StarTech 3.5mm TRRS Stereo Female to 2 3.5mm TRS Stereo Male Y Cable (B&H # STMUYHSFMM) and then use two standard 3.5mm TRS aux extension cables like the Pearstone 3.5mm Stereo Male to Female Extension Cable - Black, 10' (B&H # PEMMSB110B) in the length you require to connect to the monitor and camera.

The Deity Microphones V-Mic D4 Hybrid Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone does come with a foam windscreen as well as a furry deadcat-style windscreen which can be used over the foam. As an option for a different deadcat-style windscreen that can be used on its own, the Rycote Standard Hole Classic Softie Wind-Screen - 2.7", 0.7 to 0.8" Diameter Hole, Gray (B&H # RY7CS1922) is a good choice.

The manufacturer has not specified whether or not the included audio cables for the Deity Microphones V-Mic D4 Hybrid Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone are shielded, however, they should all have some level of shielding, as USB connectors are shielded and the V-Mic D4 provides USB-C output only.
