4K HDR
Dual HDMI 2.0 ports let you hook up a variety of devices, such as a Blu-ray player, gaming console, or streaming device. You can use these devices with the UHD38x to produce stunning 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution images. When playing content that supports HDR technology, these 4K visuals are enhanced with rich contrast and deep blacks, providing you with increased depth and realism.
Gaming Mode
Video games, especially high-end titles, require different specifications for an optimal experience. This is why Optoma provides a gaming mode to enhance the graphics of your games with maximum contrast and vivid color. Gaming mode brings an ultralow 4.2 ms response time at 1080p and 240 Hz refresh rate.
Backlit Remote
The included remote control features a subtle white LED backlight under all of the buttons, making it easy to control the projector in the dark.
Wall Color Adjustment
If you're projecting to a wall that's not pure white, you can use the CinemaX's wall color adjustment feature to select one of 6 tinted options to best match your wall color: Blackboard, Light Yellow, Light Green, Light Blue, Pink, and Gray.
Four Corner Correction
If you have to mount the projector at an odd angle, keystone correction in the vertical and horizontal plane is available to let you easily adjust each corner to turn skewed images into a perfect square.

surprised at how clear and accurate it is right out of the box. I am using a 120" screen with lights on it is still bright
Nice But Needs a More Powerful Zoom

Right out of the box, the Optoma UHD38x projected perfect colors and a beautiful, clear 4K picture from both streaming services and 4K blu ray discs and it's smaller size made it easy to set up and handle. But there is one catch on this projector, the zoom lens. The zoom range is so small and insignificant that I don't think Optoma should even advertise that it has a zoom lens. After placing the projector 14 feet from our 150 screen, the picture still didn't fill the screen so I tried the zoom lens to fill up the remaining screen real estate. The amount of filling was negligible. In fact, I couldn't fill the entire screen with the use of the zoom lens. So, if your setup requires the use of a zoom lens to fill your screen, look elsewhere for a projector that has a better one because this one will not fit the bill.
