Are there instructions for setting up the ...
Are there instructions for setting up the softboxes? I can't find the slots that the poles should supposedly slide into...
The soft box fabric of the Godox SL60IIBI Bi-Color LED Video Light (2-Light Kit) (B&H# GOSL60IIBIKT) comes packed flat. The openings (let's call them pockets) where the tips of the rods slide in are at the crease points in the interior lip of the fabric. Here are the basic steps for anyone in your position and, at the end, a link to a video in which you can see the features to be described in these instructions: First, thread each of the four rods starting from the center of the fabric along the crease in the fabric all the way to the lip of the fabric in the front in each corner. Within the lip, the tip of each rod should fit into a tiny pocket in the seam there. (You'll just see that in the video link at the end of these instructions.) With all four of those rods now threaded and in the pockets, we now turn to the center of the soft box where there is a large (approximately 5" or 13cm) hole where the opposite ends of each of those four rods are now positioned if the rods were threaded properly. Now, take the included metal ring -- called a speed ring -- and insert the ends of each rod into it as you'll see in the later video. The first one will be easy, the second one less so, and then for the third and fourth rods you will need to bend each rod slightly to get it to fit. (This is normal.) Third, secure any loose flaps near the speed ring using the hook and loop attachment material (popularly called "Velcro") which is already sewn onto the fabric of the soft box. Now that the soft box is assembled, you can then fit the soft box on the front of the light and turn it clockwise until you hear a click. While this video does a good job of showing you how individual rods are inserted into the pockets at the front lip of the soft box, we would recommend threading all four rods properly before inserting any rod into the speed ring: https://bhpho.to/46Eaivo
