Expand the accessory mounting capabilities of your camera without stressing its body with the Bright Tangerine Top Plate II for Sony FX6. Simply attach this extremely versatile plate to the top of your FX6 camera to add two NATO rails with spring-loaded safety catches, multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes, with steel Heli-Coil inserts to prevent stripping, QD, and even two M5 threads on the front for attaching lens adapter supports to your camera. A relocating point allows you to attach clips for cable management.
Heli-Coil, NATO, and QD
With threaded mounting holes, NATO, and QD points, you can easily change your rig configuration to match your needs. The stainless-steel Heli-Coiled 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 fittings provide added strength and prevent threads from stripping or binding. Quick Detach (QD) sockets provide a rapid way to connect and disconnect straps and anchors for extra peace of mind in fast-paced situations.
Lens Adapter Support
When using the Sony FX6 with large PL mount lenses, adapter supports can be secured using the two M5 mounting points at the front of the top plate. The solid connection ensures that your lens adapter stays firmly in place, eliminating any chance of flex or play.
Compatibility
The Top Plate can also be used with the Bright Tangerine Top Plate Filler Piece (B4004.1006) to add a third NATO rail in the middle, providing a central mounting point. This is useful for gimbal builds and other setups where the FX6 handle is not required.
