Sunwayfoto PCL-R5G II Reviews
Perfect Fit For R5 Mark II W/ BG-R20
This Bracket Fits Perfectly When Used With The Canon EOS R5 Mark II W/ BG-R20. The Battery Tray Remains Usable, And The Bracket Allows For Mounting In Either Horizonal Or Vertical Orientation With Arca-Swiss Compatible Tripods. To Some Degree, It Also Helps Protect The Case.
It does the job despite not being sturdy enough
Comparing this to previous Kirk L plates I have owned, this seems subpar. The bracket is not as tight-fitting. There is a gap between the camera and the plate of 2-3mm. The bottom horizontal beam is severely misplaced in terms of fitting to the R5 with a battery grip. This leaves the upright to be a little wobbly when putting a minimum amount of pressure on it. I may try to grind down the sides to make it fit better. But given there's currently no Kirk plate for R5+battery grip, it does an OK job.
