Designed to be an all-purpose support, the steel and aluminum Proaim Boom Light Telescopic Stand with 5/8" Mount for Photo & Lighting Gear combines a versatile stand with a three-section boom arm. The stand height is variable from 5.5' to 8'. It has two legs at the front and a central column for variable angles on stairs and uneven terrain, which can be locked in place with quick-leveling knobs.
In addition, the stand's boom arm telescopes from 3.4' to 8', has an arc range of 105°, and is able to support 20 lb of gear at full extension, although a sandbag is recommended for this use. The boom arm has a 5/8" baby pin on its end, and the stand has a 5/8" baby pin for mounting gear when using it upright with the boom arm retracted.
