The 128 GB and 256 GB models of the Sony SF-G TOUGH Series UHS-II SDXC Memory Cards have the G letter in different background but they offer same read and write speed. There is no different apart from the storage capacity.

can uhs-I SD card reader read these uhs=II cards?

can uhs-I SD card reader read these uhs=II cards?
Asked by: Terry
Most UHS-I readers can read UHS-II cards however it would be at UHS-I's slower speed. If you need full speed, please use a UHS-II reader. Here is an example. Kingston MobileLite G4 Multi-Function SD / microSD Card Reader B&H # KIFCRMLG4.

what is the difference SF-G Tough SF-M Tough ?

what is the difference SF-G Tough SF-M Tough ?
Asked by: Michel
The SF-G has a UHS-II interface (with additional signal pins) whereas the SF-M is UHS-I. If you have a camera that has a UHS-II interface, these cards can be 2-3 times as fast as UHS-I. If your camera does not have a UHS-II interface, the card was still work but won't be any faster than a UHS-1 card. I have a 128gb SF-G card that I use in my A7r3. It works very well and it's extremely fast both for raw photo storage and also high-speed 4K video.
