HIVE LIGHTING expands its Omni-Color LED line with the compact 5 x 4" Bumble Bulb PAR30, designed for film and television productions. It is a portable and powerful lighting solution that features the form factor of a PAR30 light with modular optics, expanded control, and a built-in 1000mAh battery. The bulb's CRI rating of 95 and TLCI of 94 are indications of superior color accuracy, while it provides a generous temperature range of 2000 to 10,000K. Its multi-chip LED array blends seven different color strings to deliver precise full-spectrum white light and saturated color combinations at a high output level. The lamp has an internal CRMX antenna, and its functions—including 0 to 100% dimming—can be controlled with wired and wireless DMX or from an app via Bluetooth.
Constructed from aluminum and IP65-rated, the Bumble Bulb PAR30 is weatherproof and ready for a variety of shooting environments, including outdoor applications. It offers numerous power possibilities for use on the set or in your home. You can plug it into E26/27 sockets, run it off its internal battery, or use a USB-C port to run it off a standard wall outlet or a separately available V-mount battery. The bare bulb has a 10 ° concentrated beam angle, but it also accepts unique magnetic modifiers for enhanced control of the light's beam. Quickly swap between separately available lenses, grids, and domes to achieve shaping control with different beam spreads.
